Our history

melodex was founded by two friends brought together by their love of music - Jonathan Meager and Lee Bowden. They met working in music retail, started (and ended) a band (which sounded like this...) and stayed friends ever since - with music always at the centre.

UK-based Jonathan is a music gear obsessive and synth lover with a long background in music equipment retail, software, record labels and bands.

Lee is a producer and DJ deeply embedded in the Berlin electronic scene. He makes killer house-adjacent music as Hett. He brings years of experience from Ableton, music equipment retail and beyond.
